At Apple Moon Tattoo LLC, I take great care in providing high-quality tattoos and want every client to leave happy. This policy helps set clear expectations around refunds.
REFUND POLICY
All tattoo and piercing services are final and non-refundable.
Time, materials, and creative energy are invested in every piece, regardless of the final size or cost.
If you have concerns about your tattoo or piercing, please reach out within 5 days of your appointment so we can discuss it together.

TOUCH UP POLICY
Touch-Up Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2025
At Apple Moon Tattoo LLC, I offer touch-ups to keep your tattoo looking its best, but these are a courtesy and not guaranteed.
TOUCH-UP POLICY
-Touch-ups are part of the care I offer to ensure your tattoo continues to look its best—but they are a courtesy, not a guarantee, and are offered at the artist’s discretion.
-One complimentary touch-up is available within 60 days of your original tattoo, as long as proper aftercare was followed.
-Hands and feet are excluded from the complimentary touch-up policy due to the high likelihood of fading in those areas.
-Touch-ups are limited to correcting color fading, black ink blotchiness, or artist error.
-Design changes, additions, or alterations are not considered touch-ups and will incur additional charges.
-The original design must remain unchanged—if modifications are requested, the tattoo will no longer qualify for a complimentary touch-up.
-Repeated or long-term touch-ups are a gift from the artist and are not to be expected or taken advantage of.

TATTOOS- Safety & Care Commitment
- I use only sterile, single-use tattoo cartridges , all items used in tattooing are single use or sanitized for each client.
- I use only single use cannula needles for piercings, along with sanitized bagged instruments for each procedure.
- All instruments are throughly sanitized with a bleach solution, along with an autoclave and/or a UV sanitizer. All areas of the shop are sprayed and cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectant after each client.
- I strictly follow all bloodborne pathogen protocols to ensure the highest standard of safety for every client.

Tattoo Age Policy – Washington State
At Apple Moon Tattoo LLC, client safety and legal compliance are our top priority. In
accordance with Washington State law (RCW 26.28.085), we strictly adhere to the following
policy:
1. Legal Age Requirement
• All clients wishing to receive a tattoo must be at least 18 years old, as required under
Washington State law (RCW 26.28.085). No exceptions.
2. Identification
• All clients must present a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport)
to verify age before any tattooing begins.
3. No Parental Consent for Minors
• Despite parental approval, we cannot and will not tattoo anyone under the age of 18. Such
actions would violate Washington law and put both the client and the shop at risk of legal
penalties.
4. Enforcement & Right to Refuse
• We strictly reserve the right to refuse services if:
• A client is under 18 (regardless of consent).
• Valid age identification is not provided.
• Tattooing a minor is considered a misdemeanor, with possible legal consequences for
violated license terms.
5. Health & Licensing Compliance
• Apple Moon Tattoo LLC complies fully with Washington’s licensing and health regulations,
including:
• Holding a valid Body Art Facility License.
• Ensuring tattoo artists are certified and licensed.
• Maintaining strict sterilization protocols, using single-use needles, disposable gloves, and
passing inspections by the Department of Health.
SAFTEY AND CLEANLINESS STANDARDS
Licensed for both tattooing and piercing in the state of Washington
- Strict adherence to industry sanitation guidelines
- No reused tools or supplies—your safety is never compromised
- I clean all metal instruments in bleach water, then run them through a dry/high-heat autoclave for 60 minutes and/or a UV sanitizer, which kills 99.9% of bacteria and germs.
- To tattoo, I only use prepackaged sterile one-use cartridges.
- When piercing, I only use sterile prepackaged one-use cannula needles.
- All sterile, single-use supplies are disposed of immediately after the procedure is complete.
- All needles and cartridges are disposed of in a sharps container.
- All contaminated materials are disposed of safely in the appropriate receptacle.

PIERCING AGE REQUIREMENTS
Apple Moon Tattoo Piercing Age Policy
At Apple Moon Tattoo,
Client safety and responsible practices come first.
To ensure a safe and professional experience, we follow the guidelines below:
Earlobe Piercings
- We offer earlobe piercings starting at age 10.
- A parent or legal guardian must be present and sign a consent form for clients under 18.
All Other Piercings (Body & Facial)
- No piercings are performed on individuals under 16 years old.
- Clients who are 16–17 years old may receive piercings only with a parent or legal guardian present.
- A parent or guardian must provide valid photo ID and sign a consent form.
- Both the minor and parent/guardian must present identification to confirm identity and relationship.
Age 18 and Older
- Clients 18 years or older may receive piercings without parental consent but must present a valid government-issued photo ID.
Right to Refuse Service
- Apple Moon Tattoo reserves the right to refuse service if identification or consent requirements are not met, or if the requested service is not in the client’s best interest.
PIERCING -Sterilization & Sanitation
- All piercings are performed using sterile, single-use, packaged cannula needles.
- All stainless steel equipment is sterilized using a high dry-heat autoclave, which destroys bacteria, viruses, and spores by maintaining intense heat over time.
- In addition, I use ultraviolet (UV) sterilization on tools and non-porous equipment as an extra layer of protection—UV light effectively eliminates up to 99.99% of harmful microorganisms.
- All surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with a hospital-grade germicide to ensure a clean, safe environment for every client.
What to Know About Surface Piercings
- Surface piercings sit just under the skin—unlike standard piercings, they enter and exit along the same flat plane.
- Eyebrow piercings are a common type of surface piercing, and like others, they require extra care to prevent rejection.
- Surface piercings are less stable and considered long-term temporary, typically lasting 5–7 years.
- For best results, choose a low-movement area- avoid hands, feet, arms, and legs.
- Always work with a piercer who uses implant-grade materials.
- Avoid heavy product buildup (makeup, lotions) around the piercing to prevent irritation.

At Apple Moon Tattoo LLC, I strive to create a calm, focused, and safe environment for all tattoo and piercing services. To protect the privacy, safety, and comfort of both the artist and the client, the following recording policy applies:
-NO RECORDING DURING PROCEDURES
-Recording (including video, audio, or photography) is not allowed during any tattooing or piercing procedure.
-This includes clients, friends, family, and any accompanying guests.
-WHY THIS POLICY EXISTS
-Recording can be distracting and potentially unsafe during a procedure.
-It may violate the privacy of the artist or other clients.
-It helps maintain a hygienic, focused, and professional environment.
-RECORDING IS WELCOME AFTERWARD
-You are welcome to take photos or videos of the finished tattoo or piercing after the procedure is complete.
-If you’d like a photo or video taken, I’m happy to assist once the session is finished.
-Thank you for your understanding and respect for these boundaries.

At Apple Moon Tattoo LLC, every client deserves a respectful, safe, and positive experience. To maintain a professional and comfortable atmosphere, the following policies are in place:
-ARTIST BOUNDARIES
-I reserve the right to refuse to tattoo any area of the body that I am not comfortable working on. This includes, but is not limited to:
-Breasts- Buttocks- Genitals
-Any other area I choose not to tattoo for personal or professional reasons.
-NO OFFENSIVE OR INAPPROPRIATE TATTOOS
-I do not tattoo curse words, hate speech, gang symbols, or anything that promotes violence or discrimination.
-I reserve the right to decline any design that I find offensive, inappropriate, or against my values.
-RESPECT IS A TWO-WAY STREET
-Clients are expected to be respectful of the artist, the studio space, and any studio policies.
-No arguing, harassing, or pressuring the artist will be tolerated.
-If respect is given, it will absolutely be returned. I am here to provide you with my best work and experience.
-MY GOAL
-My goal is to create beautiful art in a calm and professional space. These boundaries ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of both the artist and the client.
